
Rev. Jeffrey H. Owens, Sr.
Reverend Jeffrey H. Owens, Sr., born in 1967, hails as the youngest of four children to James H. Sr. and Bernice S. Owens, proud parents from Columbus, Ohio. In 1997, he embraced Jesus as his Lord and Savior, a pivotal moment that ignited his spiritual journey. Married to Camla Moorer since 1994, their union has been blessed with three cherished children: Alyssa C., Jeffrey II, and Skyler A.
Reverend Jeffrey H. Owens, Sr., pursued his academic endeavors with zeal, earning a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Alabama A&M University, followed by a Master's degree in Mathematics Education from Alabama State University. His commitment to education culminated in the attainment of a Professional Educator's Certificate in 2001, specializing in Secondary Mathematics for grades 6-12.
Ordained as a Deacon of the Gospel in 1999 at Hutchinson Missionary Baptist Church, Reverend Owens felt the divine call to preach in 2003. Subsequently ordained as a Minister of the Gospel in 2006, he served as the Executive Minister at Hutchinson Missionary Baptist Church until 2010. In alignment with God's plan, Reverend Owens assumed the role of Pastor at King Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama.
Reverend Owens has seamlessly intertwined his ministry with various professional roles, including Mathematics Teacher at L. B. Wallace School and Robert E. Lee High School. Additionally, he has contributed to customer relations and managerial capacities with Applebee's and as an Accounts Manager/Co-Owner at CJO's Wash on Wheels.
